Ezra Collective - Here Because Of Hope (Transparent Ocean Blue 2LP)

Ezra Collective's Here Because Of Hope is an ambitious, deeply personal album conceived in three spiritual and geographical movements. The London five-piece traces connections between Africa, the Caribbean, London and the wider African diaspora, bringing jazz together with Afrobeat, highlife, soul and hip-hop. Letitia Wright provides spoken-word passages, with guest appearances from Pa Salieu, Lila Iké, Leona Lewis and Libianca.
